The official currency of the Principality of Carmont is the Carmontian Shilling (CS). The Shilling serves as the recognised monetary unit of the Principality and is used as the basis for expressing prices, values and financial matters within Carmont. Every Shilling is divided into one hundred pence.
The first series of Carmontian Shilling banknotes incorporates the heraldry, landscapes and visual identity of the Principality and it's surroundings. The designs combine traditional European engraving and ornamentation with a modern interpretation of princely currency.
The Carmontian Shilling is valued against Pound Sterling at a fixed reference rate of 1 CS = £0.50.
